Nice little place to pitch a tent or stop for a few nights. Owner was a bit miserable as I drove out the wrong way not realising it was a one way. Showers were a bit odd 50p for 4-5 mins but payment was outside of cubicle so you gad to pay. Quickly get undressed and shower before your time was up or you had to get out the cubicle and put another 50p in. Nice quiet place surrounded by a good golf course. Nice and qui

Scrump Bee

Very peaceful with beautiful views of the Welsh mountains Toilets and showers very clean and a child free site (or seemed to be) A bit far to walk to the town centre,I certainly wouldn’t recommend walking back in the dark after a few pints but most people prefer to spend their evenings in their caravans etc or drive to a country pub for a meal as opposed to going out to party. Definitely the place to go if you want a quiet break in the Welsh countryside

Friendly owner and quieter site than many. Lovely views from some pitches. Very clean loos and showers (50p). Electricity very expensive so best if you can use own. Mostly seasonal pitches, in varying degrees of repair. Maintenance required in areas. About 10 touring pitches and 80 seasonal (some more friendly than others). Dog walk on site. Nice walk into Abergavenny which is a lovely town on the Usk. It's a hard slog back uphill, though, especially in the sunshine. The site is not bad, but should be better. Pictures on website are quite old.
