The site is just off the A75, a very busy road. Upon entering the site it looks very nice. Park 1 is. You can almost see the lake. However, if you don't book direct it's Park 2 and that is dismal. A circular paddock with no grass just grey gravel. The ground is so hard it bent out reinforced awning pegs. There are hedges around the paddock therefore you can't see much of the surround greenery either. The 2 toilet/shower rooms are very nice, with plenty of space, copious amounts of hot water and very clean. We left 3 days earlier than planned.

Beautiful campsite. Two areas for caravans/motorhomes with five spaces in each area. Spotlessly clean, spacious bathrooms, of which there were two in each area, comprising of shower, toilet and washbasin. Electric hookup easily accessible but the fresh water was a bit tricky to access if you don't have a long hose with you. Separate area for emptying waste, toilet/elsan and recycling. Beautiful views of surrounding hills as well as a duck pond. Highly recommend. £30 per night

Caravan club site. Great sized gravel pitches each with ehu. Very clean and tidy toilet/showers. Beautiful place to stay. Derek & Sheena keep it a 5 star location.

Spoke to a delightful and helpful lady on the phone , we arrive 10mins later , shown to our pitch- such a lovely place , immaculately clean facilities and a beautiful view. Dog friendly Thank you
