About Ballyness Caravan Park
Ballyness sits on the southern edge of Bushmills village, laid out across three landscaped areas around a series of small ponds and mature planting that quietly shields pitches from the north Antrim wind. The fifty touring pitches—for caravans, campervans and motorhomes only—are arranged on generous concrete hard standings, each fully serviced with 16-amp electric hook-up, mains water and waste drainage. The standard is unusually high for a family-run park: Practical Caravan named it the top campsite in the UK, and the heated amenity block, free hot showers, family wash rooms, upgraded wi-fi and motorhome service point all bear this out. There's a children's play park, football field and dedicated dog walk, with dogs genuinely welcomed rather than merely tolerated.
The location is the clincher. The Old Bushmills Distillery is a walk through the village, the Giant's Causeway two miles up the road, and Dunluce Castle, Portballintrae and Bushfoot strand all within a few minutes by car. The Causeway Coast Way passes close by for walkers, and Portrush with its beaches and golf is around fifteen minutes west. Expect to pay in the region of £35 a night for a caravan or motorhome with two adults, including all services.

We recently spent a week on Ballyness Caravan Park in Bushmills. It has to be one of the best caravan sites in Northern Ireland. It was just up the road from the Distillery and walkable distance into the village. It is so handy to the many attractions on the North Coast. The touring pitches are in three small area with a one way system. While there are 50 pitches it doesn’t feel like that. The toilet block was immaculate, warm and the showers were great with plenty of oomph. There was a great children’s playground and a barn with table tennis, games etc. for us a top priority is our two dogs. There are a couple of dog walks - a shorter one round a duck pond and a longer one which is fantastic with short grass and a lovely wooded area. Our dogs had a blast. This is a top class family run site and we will hopefully be back sooner rather than later.

Both My Wife And I Stayed Here For Our First Visit To Northern Ireland, On Arrival We Were Welcomed By Connor Who Turned Out To Be A Great Help Throughout Our Stay. The Caravan Site Is Absolutely Immaculate, With Everything You Could Ever Need Great Amenities And Impeccably Kept. The Staff Are All Very Welcoming & Very Helpful People. We have just returned from a lovely stay at Ballyness Caravan Park and can’t recommend it highly enough. From the minute we arrived we were impressed by how beautiful and peaceful the site is. The small lake with ducks is a lovely feature and the children’s play park is excellent. The grounds are very well maintained and the caravan pitches are very well laid out and spacious so everything feels spacious and not overcrowded. The biggest compliment has to go to the cleanliness of the site. The toilets and shower block is immaculate and even the sluice room is spotless. Everywhere you look, it’s evident that the owners work incredibly hard and take great pride in maintaining such a high standard. We can’t wait for a return visit.

Very well kept caravan site. Always clean, tidy & well presented. The site is partly static homes & part tourers. Great for touring caravans & motorhomes. Good facilities on site. All the pitches have electric, clean & grey water hookup. Children are well catered for too with a modern activity play park & a games hall too. The staff are always friendly & helpful.
