What visitors say
Great place along the South Downs Way for a coffee stop. I still visit often but the last few times I've been, the noise from those plastic toy tractors being ridden around is very annoying, and has ruined the idyllic atmosphere the place had, now it feels more like a playground. Also had one driven into my leg and seen other people have similar issues while queuing for food or carrying hot drinks around the seating area. Maybe move them to the field opposite, or if really needed put in a small adventure area for kids to play. Update. Shortly after writing this review they have created an area for the tractors, it looks great and keeps it away from the seating area. 3 stars up to 5, really is a great place and always nice to see feedback appreciated.

I can only rate the café on site as we stopped by for a coffee. A lovely, scenic spot to stop with some little ride on Tractors for our 3 year old. We didn't realise you could just stop by for a the café so glad we did. Even though we are local we are tempted to use the campsite as very well looked after from what we could see.

This is an absolute queen of a wild camping campsite… aside from the beautiful price it is perfect! The facilities are spot on… really clean with roomy showers, lots of hooks ❤️. The cafe is a daily treat with all sorts, snacks and toasties. Pitch where you like but there are in ground fire pits all around. They even have somewhere to charge stuff, a fridge freezer if you need it, a kettle! Honestly this place is spot on!

I came through Holden Farm on my trip through the South Downs Way. Very relaxing a pleasant space. Staff are extremely polite and welcoming. I was able to use a free water point which is gold for extended long days of walking. The food was extremely tasty, I had a hand made cheese toastie that had pickles and mustard and I must say it was divine. Many thanks to the Staff and great point to stop along the South Downs Way 😎
