We had a great time at Fairoaks lakes. The pods are comfortable and have the basics to make your weekend camping much easier. The shared facilities were clean and the water hot. The location is beautiful on the lakes with quiet woods all around, great for a walk. We saw some bird of prey, nesting swallows and smalls bats at dusk. The hosts are onsite, very nice and helpful. They have food for the animals (horse, goats, geese and ducks). The kids loved it! There is a small playground for the younger kids. We highly recommend staying here.

We've stayed a couple of times here and can't wait to go back. This place is so gorgeous. The setting is stunning with lush countryside around, with lakes on the site that you can have a refreshing swim in. The pods are so comfy and amazingly well equipped. The animals are really lovely too! We hired the entire site for glamping and camping - everybody had a thoroughly amazing time. The hosts could not be more helpful and generous with their time (especially running a karaoke evening for us!). Absolutely recommend!

We were very lucky to have the whole place to ourselves for 2 nights. It was very relaxing, with a lovely lake view from our door. Toilets and showers were really clean, we were particularly pleased with the lovely hot showers. Pods were nice and clean, everything that was supposed to be there was there. We found a very nice circular walk through the woods. The ducks and geese kept us amused. Wi Fi was great so we watched a film on the evenings. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Anything you need is a 15 minute drive away. We loved it. Thanks.

This was our first time glamping and we had a wonderful experience. The site is absolutely gorgeous, with all sorts of wildlife. We saw squirrels, dragonflies, bats, a chicken, and we fed the horse, goats and ducks. The pod has everything you could need, including a heater that made the space toasty in no time, so cold weather breaks are just as comfortable. We love that the pods are themed with animals on the cups and bedding. The time we spent at Fairoak Lakes was incredibly relaxing. We seriously cannot wait to go back! Thank you so much!
