What visitors say
What a fab place to stay. We’ve stopped here whilst travelling up to Scotland. I wanted a countryside feel and this didn’t disappoint. A lake view, gorgeous trees, wildlife (geese and many birds) around the fishing lakes. The facilities are farmhouse style but clean and perfect for our needs. Very well keep lawns and pitches. There’s also a lot of planting and divisions between sections giving people plenty of privacy. Easy to find as well which helps! We’ll be back ☺️

I recently spent a lovely weekend at Belmont Hall Camping, and it was such a wonderful experience. The setting is beautiful, peaceful, and perfect if you want to switch off and relax for a few days. The campsite feels really unique and well looked after. Everything was clean, well organised, and easy to access, which made the stay completely stress-free. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, and it felt safe and comfortable throughout the weekend. It was the perfect little getaway from busy daily life, and I would definitely go back again. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing weekend in nature.

If you want to be harassed then take a trip to Belmont we went for a family trip and was constantly harassed by the on site warden for having fun with our family ! Accused of things that were not true and told we’re not allowed to play music off our phones at 5.30pm. we felt like we were in concentration camp! If your looking to have a laugh and giggle this is not the site for you they want you like statues. At one point around 10.30pm the warden decided to creep up on 2 female members of our party who were talking in there tent were a young child was sleeping again to say we were to stop talking ! Horrendous experience and as you can imagine we left first thing the following morning after the warden had again approached us and told us we were to leave accusing us of swearing ! We had already made the decision that we would not be staying for the rest of the weekend due to the ill treatment so there removal of us was unnecessary! I don’t take it lightly being accused of things that’s are not true or being told by them that they don’t know if our children will be a problem later in the evening because they were having fun and playing bare in mind these children are aged between 2-7 years of age ! The fun police certainly ruined what should have been a great family weekend ! We were well aware of the music rules which state to be switched off after 10.30pm and we kept our family members to our allocated pitches which we had paid for 4 plots for the weekend! We were not harming no one except having fun with our family and we were approached 3 times before 10.30pm and then again after dark when a private conversation was happening ! Around this time one of our family members left their tent and ventured to the toilet were she was stared down by 2 males and a female and made to feel intimidated ! We were made to feel like naughty school children ! I get people can get loud and out of control when drinking etc but this was not the case we were all sat down playing with children and having fun we did not deserve to be subjected to constant interrogation! In addition we spoke to other campers on the site who had also said they would not return as they had also been approached and told to basically stop talking and having fun ! Beautiful location and site but the fun police certainly ruined it !

We have just left this beautiful camp site, our stay started off lovely, until a young couple arrived on Saturday afternoon, they ruined our stay arguing all afternoon and we'll into the night, shouting and screaming at each other, no one came to sort it out , even though there is a noise limit after 10pm ,we had no sleep. The disgusting language out them was horrendous, we loved the site but it has put us off .
