Just what we was looking for! Myself and my partner where looking for somewhere within an hour of home that would be suitable to a basic set up and 3 dogs and this place is perfect for us. Even with around 30+ visitors on site there is plenty of room for us to have our dog pen around our set up with ample room between us and the our neighbours either side. Jo met us at the gate and she was friendly and very welcoming. We stragegically parked away from the facilities block to ensure we had less foot traffic, for our own privacy but it also keeps the dogs settled whilst on site and this site was perfect for this. There's a dog field too where the girls have had several walks off lead. Look out for the stork living by the pond! The facilities where more than adequate, a couple of toilets and a couple of showers for both M and F areas, grey waste facilities, washing up area. All areas clean and regularly tended to. There's some notices within the facilities block too with local recommendations. The site itself is locked to anyone who's not booked and everyone is given a code to get in and out so there will never be any unexpected visitors - a good edition as we've been on sites before with people visiting causing a disturbance, not everyone but some. Overall a lovely place, beautiful and quiet surroundings and we've already planned to return for a longer stay.

Lovely campsite, clean, tidy and in a great location. We booked because it was advertised as adults only, thinking we'd swapped playground noises for birdsong and the gentle clink of tea mugs! Unfortunately, one enthusiastic youngster appeared to have mistaken the campsite for Wembley, spending plenty of time booting a football around while providing a soundtrack of impressive, high-volume shrieking. To make matters worse, our dog thinks footballs are the work of the devil, so he wasn't exactly enjoying the match either! Apart from our unexpected front-row seat to the "Cup Final," we had a really nice stay. We'd definitely return—hopefully next time the adults-only rule gets to play too!

We've been coming to this site for 4-5 years. It's under new ownership now. This is our favourite site in Cheshire... It's a hidden gem. For selfish purposes I wish it stayed hidden but the owners are doing a great job and should be rewarded. There isn't enough mentioned about the fact there is a great cafe, farm shop and County Store attached to this site.
