I booked a van for 2 weeks but within 1 hour of arriving I found the caravan had - No electricity, no water, toilet blocked, no bedding or towel and caravan sharing with a resident rat family so apart from that it was OK 🙈 Over a week later after various requests I got some of my money refunded minus £200 deposit

Toilets and showers are horrible , for the money we were placed in a driveway next to the sewer outlet. Staff were grumpy

Shower blocks and toilets filthy, and no loo roll, had to disturb other residents so we could get our van out and if that wasn't enough then had to break our way out of the padlocked barrier on the morning of departure as no one on site to let us out, even though we were assured there would be. No answer from on call number and unable to leave voicemail, the last resort would have been to phone police and fire brigade to assist. An interesting stay on a field, we were lucky we had a 4×4 to get us of or we really would have been I trouble. On the plus side the residents who seen to live there and the groundsman were very pleasant and helpful. Will not be returning.

Needed somewhere close to Manchester when dropping my Son to Uni and this site had availability. There was a helpful guy there, but he couldn’t make up for the fact the site is a real dump. It’s clear that there has been no maintenance or investment in the site for years. The toilets are blocked and in the worse state I have ever seen anywhere. The electrics fail to the extent we couldn’t turn on an electric travel kettle. The pitches were boggy so we had to be towed off. We left after the first night and never returned for the second night we had prepaid and I was relieved to get away and wrote off the £35 night fee, as I don’t imagine the reception staff would have been at all pleasant based on what I saw. I would have preferred to travel another 2 hours than stay here. It’s unsafe and not fit for purpose.
