About Holmston Hall Certificated Site

What visitors say
Excellent Fishing.. Really well Looked after fish. Pleasant Staff. Facilities But.. As a Senior Gent, would be of great benifit to myself and other to have some maintenance carried out on the Pegs. Some maintenance on wooden platforms for health and Safety would be a Benifit to all Thankyou

We visited Holmston hall for a fishing trip, the site it's self is tidy but could do with a bit of updating, the showers and toilet were clean and adequate but again need an uplift, the fishing is excellent and the fish are in good condition, some of the pegs could do with maintaining, there's a small shop which sells fishing tackle and a few snacks and drinks,if your on the c&c site be warned its a fair walk to the lakes so if you struggle mobility wise make sure you can get to the water, would I visit again yes no problem 😊

On the face of it the place looks the part but I have serious concerns regarding the welfare of the fish and the general condition in which the venue is being run. I observed a large number of fish gasping at the surface of the water, and the majority appeared to have sores or injuries. Many had severely damaged mouths. When you're catching roach on meat, you know something isn't right. No one appeared to be checking what rigs anglers were using, and the water itself was greasy in appearance and had an unpleasant smell. The fishery looked overstocked, highly pressured and extremely poorly managed

Brilliant days fishing, plenty of small carp to keep you busy through the day
