Quiet family-run park overlooking Bredon Hill, near Evesham

About Bredon-Vale Caravan and Camping

Tucked into the Vale of Evesham with wide-open views towards Bredon Hill and the Malverns, this small family-run park keeps things deliberately low-key. It welcomes touring caravans, motorhomes and tents alongside a handful of glamping options – bell tents, vintage caravans and two dog-friendly log pods – but pitches itself squarely at couples and families rather than groups, which gives the whole place a calmer, more settled feel than some of the area's bigger sites. Wildlife conservation areas are woven into the grounds, reinforcing the nature-focused atmosphere, and the site's open year-round, making it a solid choice for quieter months.

Facilities are compact but spotlessly kept: an immaculate shower block, electric hookups on most touring pitches, and a laundry room with microwave and freezer for longer stays. A small shop stocks essentials including fresh eggs and pastries – handy for a lazy morning before heading out to Evesham, Pershore or Chipping Campden, all within easy reach. The park is both dog and cat-friendly, with hands-on owners who take a genuine interest in guests and their pets alike. Runner-up in the 2025 Best Caravan Park awards for the West Midlands.

We've just got home after a lovely 3 night stay in May half term - in the middle of a heatwave! It was our first family camping trip in a tent with our two older children and dog. The welcome on arrival was informative and the details handed to us on paper gave more information on items in the shop, how to order freshly baked croissants (which were delicious) in the morning and other amenities. The showers and toilets were very clean. With large shower areas and mirrors. We never once had to queue for them! The laundry, freezer and microwave were great (although we only used the freezer) and they even had an area to swap books and borrow games. Eco friendly washing up liquid, soap and laundry cleaners were provided - an excellent and thoughtful touch. There were options to hire extras such as parasols and fire pits. The off lead, dog walking area, was enough for a run and play around - especially as it was right behind our pitch (no.21). We like the security of the site: having a coded gate and policies that mean we felt safe as a family with no late night disturbances (apart from the thunder storm!😂) Our only disappointment was that we didn't get to use the ample ball game area as much as we would have liked as it was far too hot for physical activity in the 30+ degree heat. It was clear that the owners were attentive to the needs of the customers and we hope to stay there for longer next time.

What a fantastic hidden gem. Tucked away down a quiet drive, it offers the perfect escape for anyone seeking peace and quiet without compromising on comfort. With around 30 pitches, there’s a great mix of spaces for caravans, campervans and tents, alongside a couple of charming huts and a bell tent for something a little different. The facilities are excellent. The shower blocks were spotless, warm, and well maintained, with powerful hot showers. There’s also a well-thought-out communal area for washing up, waste sorting, and even access to a microwave and freezer if needed. A real highlight is the small on-site shop, stocked with essentials and some lovely homemade treats. £6.40 each way for a taxi into Evesham The hosts were incredibly welcoming and always on hand if needed, creating a relaxed and friendly atmosphere from the moment we arrived. We left feeling completely refreshed and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

The campsite is quiet and beautifully maintained even though there is quite a busy road nearby. We loved the landscaping, the very clean, large and powerful showers and toilets and the washing up area were all superb. The owners were also very helpful solving a problem we had with the shelter we’d brought. We also extended our stay with a late check out which was superb and meant we could have another full day in the area. We stayed in Nancy the on site caravan in the heatwave for 4 nights over the bank holiday and we were glad we took some shelter to go against the side of the caravan as the positioning of it means there is very little shade otherwise. Whilst it can technically fit 4 I would suggest that would be very tight. The main bed is only slightly bigger than a single so it was a snug fit for two adults. At £75per night we felt it was on the expensive side. However for that you do get a large pitch with a very useful picnic bench outside. Inside, the caravan has a microwave which we didn’t use, a kettle which we did and worked well and it was furnished with items not required for our weekend so we stowed them away. The quality of the inside of the caravan is functional and some areas are tired (notably around the door and the window seals on one are broken). In addition to the kettle and microwave there was a bin and dustpan and brush which was useful. You are also provided with a BBQ and BBQ utensils. We preferred to use our own cooking appliances. Apart from a bottle opener no other implements are provided so do bring knifes, colanders, pans etc. It is an original 1970s caravan and we expected rustic but we did have ants and it would benefit from a bright cosy floor mat by the bed and new bedding. Worth also noting there is no lock to the caravan so your items are not secure (we were told this on arrival). Do take a porta loo as you can fit one into the cupboard which was convenient. Certain pieces were presented that hadn’t been used in a while, the bowls and plates we used our own. Leaflets were out of date and the welcome to the caravan notice and utensils were not all clean. We chose not to camp in a tent as our friends were bringing a motorhome and we wanted to be next to them so the caravan was the only option. The log cabins are cheaper but smaller. If I came again I would take a tent or I’d hire a motorhome/caravan as the owners were very helpful and the site and amenities on offer more generally were good.

Wonderful stay at this peaceful, welcoming, eco-friendly campsite. Originally booked for two nights in a cosy log pod but extended stay to 3 nights as it was such a lovely place to be and the whole experience was very relaxing. Evident that a great deal of care and love has been put into developing and maintaining this beautiful site by the owners. Many thanks.
