About Premier Inn Christchurch East
Somerford Road sits on the eastern approach to Christchurch, with the Dorset coast and countryside around Highcliffe and Mudeford close by and Bournemouth within easy reach. Premier Inn Christchurch East makes good use of that position, offering a straightforward base for exploring the harbour, beaches and surrounding towns without the higher prices of a seafront address.
The hotel has 122 rooms spread across two floors, all en-suite, with lift access and rooms adapted for accessibility. There's a restaurant and bar on site serving breakfast and evening meals, plus free WiFi, drinks available in the room, and 24 hour reception for flexible arrivals. Free on-site parking is available to anyone who registers their vehicle at reception, and there's an electric vehicle charge point for those who need it.
Outside the hotel, the area offers golf, fishing, horse riding and watersports nearby, along with pubs, restaurants and a KFC within reach for something quick. It's a practical stopping point for touring this stretch of the Dorset coast rather than a destination in itself.
Guests consistently praise this hotel for its clean rooms and the good quality food available at the attached pub. The friendly and helpful staff, along with the convenient location near shops and local amenities, are also frequently highlighted.
Some reviews mention the rooms can be neglected.
