What gorgeous views there are from South View Pods, gazing out over the Shropshire Hills – no surprise this landscape has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. That's a fine backdrop to an evening sizzling sausages on the barbie while the sun sets, and the surrounds make for fabulous walking or cycling, whether that's long rambles on the Long Mynd or shorter jaunts to the pub (it's a mere mile to the nearest country inn). Countryside may be all around, but urban amenities aren't far either: Church Stretton is 10 minutes' drive away.
Pack a mattress and bedding for your pod stay and you'll hopefully be in for a peaceful slumber – your cosy wooden hut comes with a kingsize double bed frame, lighting, electrical sockets and heating. The rear and front windows have blinds to block out early morning sun: lie-ins almost essential. Toilets and showers are a short scamper away in a modern toilet block, and you'll also have access to drinking water and a washing-up area.

This is a lovely peaceful site easily accessed from the B4371 with great views in every direction. We stayed in our motorhome on a hardstanding pitch with electric hook up, and water supply. There are both male and female facilities with toilet, sink and shower in heated rooms. Kath and Ben were very friendly and helpful. We cycled cross country to Craven Arms one day, and on another we walked into Church Stretton using quiet back roads and footpaths through the fields. As it was March we had the site to ourselves so it was nice and quiet.

A good venue with lots of places to walk. There was a really friendly lady that I met when I first arrived. Ben is easy to contact and the place is kept gorgeous, immaculate and clean.

Very peaceful spot. Immaculately clean site & perfect little camping pod. Basic but exactly as described when booking and priced accordingly. Perfect place to unwind. Will definitely visit again.

One the best locations to go, we used to stay in the pod onsite which is available to rent on pitch up 😊 since then I've got me a tentbox and Ben and kathleen have been so accommodating when it's come to allowing me to pitch up there. Such a peaceful place too escape too, toilet block is clean with a paying shower so be sure to take some change if wanting to use it. There is also information leaflets of what's about in the area. The lane walks are breathtaking with sheep and cows local. Church Stretton is a 5mins drive but I recommend going into ludlow or Shrewsbury for a nice meal. Will always recommend this site to anyone wanting to escape to something peaceful 😊
