Conwy Touring Park
Conway Rd, Conwy LL32 8HZ, UK
A large touring park a mile from Conwy's town walls with valley and mountain views
About Conwy Touring Park
Conwy Touring Park sits just over a mile from the historic walled town, offering valley and mountain views from its spacious hardstanding pitches. Set up exclusively for caravans and motorhomes with 16-amp electric hookups throughout, it's a practical base for exploring the northern Conwy Valley, Snowdonia's edge, and the coast between Llandudno and Bangor. The on-site Swallows Nest bar and bistro provides meals without leaving the park, while modern shower blocks, a laundrette, and both indoor and outdoor play areas make it workable for families as well as couples.
The location strikes a good balance - close enough to Conwy Castle and the town walls for an evening stroll, yet far enough out to feel like a proper touring stop rather than an urban overnight. Some visitors note the facilities can feel a touch tired in places, but the generous pitch size and dog-friendly policy keep it popular with motorhome tourers covering ground between Llandudno and the Snowdonia peaks.

Staying for 5 nights this time. We Stay and Store our caravan here and we think the rates are good. Excellent toilet and shower facilities on site. You can do many walks on this site as it is very large. Outdoor gym, dog agility space, on site restaurant which can be booked on line and large play area for children. Roads are cycle friendly and there are bays with electric vehicle charge points. New on site are Lodges that can be purchased. Lovely clean and maintained site with onsite reception. Dog friendly site.

Lovely holiday park with good amenities. We booked a weeks holiday but unfortunately we came home a day early. Sunday to Thursday the park is so quiet and chilling, Friday the nightmare starts. Children playing football down the side of our caravan, groups of adults drinking till late. Check in needs to be more supervised to inform people of the rules. Would benefit from adults only area.

Just done a four night stay at Conwy holiday park. We stayed in purple area. Our pitch was C3. Toilets are very clean and the whole site is spotless These pitches are very large. Lovely and quiet and relaxing. We had a lovely meal at the Swallows Restaurant. Must admit the walk down to the restaurant is lovely but can be very challenging coming back. Great place to stay for visiting Wale. Would definitely recommend this place.

Well just had a return visit to Conwy Holiday Park after many many years away & what else can I say but what an improvement it’s had. Used to come here all the time when our lads were growing up & thought it had become a little tired. It’s now impressive. It’s well kept, the shower blocks are immaculate & all the staff are so friendly & helpful. The views from certain points are stunning. Food in the Swallows nest was excellent. Our pupster Merlo loved the agility course. Can’t wait for a return visit.
