About Tenting Campsite
Time for take-off into North Wales? Then strap yourself in at Tenting, an excellent base for coastal and mountain adventures. This peaceful, well-maintained spot sits just four miles from the North Wales coast, with the Clwydian Range, Snowdonia, and on clear days the Isle of Man and Cumbrian Mountains stretching across the horizon. Guests rave about the spacious pitches and spotless facilities – including showers and a handy communal freezer – while the friendly owners keep things running smoothly with an on-site honesty shop.
Fancy a hike before hitting the beach? Moelfre Isaf is a 20-minute drive, offering a 317-metre climb south of Abergele. The village of Llanfair Talhaiarn lies 45 minutes' walk away (or five minutes by car), with two food-serving pubs and plenty of photo ops. Back at camp, the mowed field invites relaxation after a day exploring Snowdonia's trails. Campfires are allowed, dogs are welcome year-round, and the atmosphere remains blissfully quiet.
