Absolute hidden gem for families! The location is stunning, with beautiful panoramic views of the Welsh coastline and direct access to great hiking trails. The facilities were great, and it's clear to see that a lot of love goes into maintaining the site to a high standard. The pitches were very spacious, and Minton and Judith made us feel very welcome. We loved every minute and will definitely be back soon! ⛺

Lovely camp site, great for motorhomes, campervans and tents. Facilities are really good, hot showers, clean bathrooms, warm water in the dog cleaning area, which is rare.... Views out to sea in one direction and fantastic mountain views in the other. Great for walkers, hill or flat. there's a local village with shops and cafe about a mile away, though pavement does not run all the way from the site to the village, it's a fairly quiet road though and a little narrow in places so care still needed if walking that stretch. All main pitches are well spaced out and have some privacy from hedges. Our pitch, no.17 was huge and felt like our own private garden. Overall a fantastic site.

This was our first time camping as a family, and unfortunately it ended on a very disappointing note. We arrived, set up our tent, and spent the evening enjoying the campsite. There were staff walking around throughout the day, and nobody mentioned that we were on the wrong pitch or that there were any issues. At around 9pm, our three-year-old son became very upset as it was his first camping trip. To help him settle, we took him for a short drive in our van, hoping he would fall asleep so we could transfer him back into the tent. We returned to the campsite at around 11pm. The entrance gate was partially closed, but we assumed this was normal overnight and carefully drove the short distance back to our pitch at walking pace. As we parked, a member of staff aggressively banged on the van window and immediately demanded to know what we were doing driving around at that time of night. She also informed us that we were on an electric pitch despite only having a tent. We immediately apologised and explained that we were first-time campers and had simply made an honest mistake. Before we could finish, we were told, “I’m not interested in your excuses. I’m interested in you following the rules.” We were then informed we had until 11am the following day to move to another pitch, before the staff member slammed the van door and walked away. To be clear, I completely accept that campsites have rules, and if we had unknowingly broken them, that’s absolutely fine. We would have happily moved immediately if asked. What I cannot accept is the way we were spoken to. There is a huge difference between enforcing rules and treating paying guests with respect. After leaving, I read through other reviews and was disappointed to see that several families had raised similar concerns about the attitude of some staff. Sadly, our experience reflects those comments. It’s a real shame because the campsite itself seemed lovely, but the way our family was treated completely overshadowed what should have been a special first camping experience for our son. I hope the management takes feedback like this seriously, as better customer service would make a significant difference.

Genuinely lovely campsite in a really accessible area. Pitches were spacious and generous. Contacted the site beforehand with queries which they were only too willing to answer. Facilities were wonderful and well kept. Located well for Snowdonia (focus of our trip). We will return I'm sure.
