The Shepherd’s Rest

The Shepherd's Rest comes ready for arrival: electricity, bed linen and towels are all included, and the kitchen is equipped for cooking. There are three bedrooms (a king, a double, and a single), one bathroom with bath and separate shower, and a wood-burning stove in the living space. The cottage holds five people and welcomes one dog. Parking for two vehicles is available on the grounds.

This single-storey property sits beside a river in the village of Rowen, with a patio and conservatory overlooking the water. The area is rural, on the border of Conwy county; the village has a local pub, and nearby attractions include Surf Snowdonia, Zip World, Bodnant Gardens and Betws-y-Coed. Conwy itself, about twenty minutes away, has a castle and mediaeval town walls. Llandudno's beaches are accessible for day trips. An unfenced river runs through the grounds, so children need watching at all times. No smoking inside the property.
