Y Ddol is a stone cottage standing on the banks of the River Aled in Llansannan, a village in the Conwy hills. Built to last, it has the character of older Welsh properties—solid, practical, and made for staying put through changeable weather. The house is yours alone, with space enough for two families or a larger group of friends.
Inside, there are three bedrooms: two with kingsize beds and one with zip-and-link singles that convert to a double. A sofa bed in the second living room makes eight sleeps possible. Two bathrooms serve the upstairs, and the ground floor has a utility room with a washing machine. The main living room centres on a wood burner, good for the cooler months; logs for the first evening are included. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking—oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher—and opens to the garden. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all provided.
The enclosed back garden has furniture and a barbecue. You can park three cars on site. Walking and cycling trails thread through the surrounding countryside, and the river itself is on your doorstep. The village sits among rolling hills and woodland. No smoking inside the cottage.
