What visitors say
We visited with a tent in July 2023. The campsite is spacious and very well kept. All facilities are clean and properly maintained. The playground and the campfire kept the kids entertained. The location is fantastic! Full of places to explore and activities to do. Take the boat to the beautiful Garnish Island. Go kayaking with the seals. Brave the cable car to Europe's most western point - Dursey Island. Or just drive over the mountains for spectacular views of waterfalls and silly goats!

I left Hungry Hill Campsite this morning after a three night stay in my campervan. What a lovely place it is. The whole site is immaculate and the facilities are fantastic, its such great value for money. Whilst I was in my camper, I was part of a walking group who stayed in the lodge, every single one of them was singing the praises of the lodge too. It was perfectly placed to visit the Beara and like us, hike the Beara Way. We were greeted with a very friendly welcome. The hot showers were very nice after a long day in the hills. I would highly recommend a stay here. Thanks guys

The staff was very thoughtful and accommodated a late check in with no extra fee. The room was lovely. The bathrooms and showers are in cubicles in a shared space but were very clean and looked after. It was easy to find. It's very secluded so need to be prepared but was very calming and scenic. Would visit again!!

A lovely small campsite, right next to the shore and at the foot of Hungry Hill. The team are lovely. Facilities: WiFi, elec, laundry, kitchen, showers, toilets, clubhouse, playground, bbq area. There is a food truck on site at the weekends. Showers could use an update but otherwise a nice place to use as your hub for exploring this part of West Cork.
