We stayed at Higher Pendeen Campsite for 5 nights and absolutely loved every minute of it. It was the perfect way to fully immerse ourselves in the beautiful wilderness of Mawgan Porth. The location is fantastic – peaceful and surrounded by nature, yet perfectly situated for exploring everything the area has to offer. We really enjoyed embracing the outdoor lifestyle, from brushing our teeth and showering in the fresh air to spending every day surrounded by the elements. It was such a refreshing and memorable experience! A special thank you to Liz, who was so warm, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our stay. She always made time to check in and have a chat, which made us feel right at home. We also loved being able to pick and enjoy the fresh berries and fruit growing around the site – such a lovely touch! If you’re looking for a peaceful, authentic camping experience close to nature, Higher Pendeen Campsite is the perfect place. We can’t wait to come back!

Just returned from an incredible stay at Higher Pendeen Camping. We stayed with friends, both have young children and took the two pitches for tents. The set up was perfect with the communal areas for cooking and setting up the camp fire. It was very peaceful and safe for the kids to run around. Location was perfect, with a 15 minute walk to Mawgan Porth beach (stunning beach with restaurants serving lovely food). We were also a short drive from Macdonald's Farm. This is a great stay for families. Liz was also brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. I highly recommend.

Had a lovely stay here ... I hired a Bell tent and I was super impressed. Everything was very well kept and new. Loads of room with comfortable beds. The site is small and intimate, quiet and very friendly. Facilities are as described on their site. I can't say anything negative about this place. 😁

Beautiful campsite which was perfect for a family camping trip. Well maintained and helpful and friendly host. Compost loo and shower both worked well. Amazing views to wake up to and short walk through fields to access the beach. Would definitely recommend
