About Hideaway Huts

Hideaway Huts sits just outside Liskeard, offering two characterful shepherd's huts as a base for exploring Cornwall. The site welcomes dogs and families, with a swimming pool on site—a real bonus after a day out. You can choose between a hut with its own hot tub or one with an outdoor bath, both dog-friendly and tucked away for privacy. Facilities cover the basics: showers, toilets, drinking water, though there's no WiFi if you're hoping to stay connected.

It's a straightforward, well-kept spot that works nicely for a touring holiday, though don't expect elaborate extras beyond the huts themselves. The peaceful setting and those little luxuries—hot tub, outdoor bath—make it feel more special than a standard pitch, and the location puts you within easy reach of Cornwall's coast and countryside.

The most amazing stay! I’ve stayed at treworgey many times before and loved it so much this year I booked the lambing hut for a couple weeks later! Holly and her Dad Bevis were incredible in helping us settle in as we needed some extra help due to a car crash so were feeling a bit sore. We had our bags brought to us from the car and Holly made sure we had everything we needed which you won’t get anywhere else! We loved the views and how out of the way it was which I was skeptical over having stayed before in the cottages but 1/2 a mile really is just the right distance. The most perfect stay. Highly recommend

What a beautiful location. We stayed in the Lambing Hut, which is a small and remote hut on the top of a hill with a wonderful view. The staff are lovely and helpful. The facilities are spotless, and having access to a pool, hot tub and sauna with a convenient pool house to shower and change is perfect.

Stayed for two nights and it was the perfect place to relax and recharge. The views from the Shepherd’s Hut are incredible. The wood fired hot tub is easy to use and a great way to chill out in the evening. Lots of little touches that made the stay extra special. Thank you!

We stayed for a few nights here in October and it was absolutely amazing, the scenery around the hut, the horses and the sheeps really friendly, the hot tub perfect at any time of the day and the inside the hut is at another level of cosiness. We would recommend this place to anyone who would like to escape a bit of the day to day routine and the busy cities. We would love to stay there again one day.
