If you're looking to truly switch off, this is the perfect place. Tucked away in the middle of nowhere, it was absolute bliss. Surrounded by beautiful valleys and trees, we even had around seven squirrels playing in the garden at one point, along with plenty of lovely birds to watch. The accommodation was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Check-in was quick and easy, and the reception staff were so friendly and welcoming. We had such a relaxing time and will definitely be back!

What an amazing place! We loved it, we had a pod with electric, just what we needed! In the woods, had a very friendly Robin visit us in the mornings! Andrew was very helpful on the emails. Nice clean facilities, couldn’t get over what was provided, amazing. We will be staying again! Loved it!

Can't recommend highly enough. Easy parking, comfortable accommodations, great wi-fi, and most importantly peace and quiet in the heart of magical Cornwall. Andrew and Nicky are kind hosts and have a nice shop for things you may have forgotten in your packing. The welcome book in my room was extremely informative and gave me ideas for side trips from my primary ones. Will return most definitely!

We had a really lovely first stay at Ruthern Valley, in a Megapod, for 3 nights. Andrew and the team couldn't have been more helpful during our stay, and were very accommodating of our later than advertised arrival. The location is lovely, far enough off the beaten track but not too far from civilisation at the same time. We left feeling sad to go, but refreshed and relaxed. We are already looking at re-booking again for later in the year. My only suggestion would be a wifi booster and/or a separate router in the pods - the wifi and phone signal is very weak at the top end of the site.
