About Trekenning Tourist Park
Trekenning Tourist Park sits in quiet countryside between Cornwall's north coast beaches and the Eden Project, making it a practical base for families exploring the county. The site offers good basics – electric hook-ups, clean facilities and a heated outdoor pool that's popular with children during warmer months. Pitches are level and well-maintained, though some visitors note the facilities can feel a little tired in places and could benefit from refurbishment.
Dogs are welcome throughout, and the year-round opening means it suits off-season breaks as well as summer holidays. There's no Wi-Fi, which some appreciate for a proper digital detox. It's a no-frills, functional site rather than a luxury destination, but the location delivers easy access to Newquay's surf beaches, Padstow and the Camel Trail without the premium price tag of coastal campsites.

What visitors say
I’ve had my caravan on a seasonal pitch here for years and regularly come to stay with my children. The atmosphere is fantastic, and Tim and Ann are always so welcoming and friendly. It’s a lovely site with a great feel to it, and we always enjoy our time here.

I cannot recommend this site for touring caravans and motorhomes. It seems to be mostly residential. Having said that, we found the facilities to be reasonable and everyone we met was pleasant. In my opinion, the density of pitches is too high.

I put my own caravan on this site on a long term agreement. I have found all the staff to be helpful and accommodating. With a lot of people on this site also being long term we have also been able to build up a lot of friends. There is a social club on site that is open all the time during the summer period and Friday Saturday evening all year round with I different menu available each day. There is also a nice outdoor heated swimming pool that Is open during the warmer months. You are expected to look after your own pitch but that also means you can do it up to your own tastes while there are people on site keeping the rest of the grounds looking good
