About Trenoon Meadow Camping
Trenoon Meadow Camping offers a properly off-grid escape on the Lizard Peninsula, just ten minutes from the coast and Britain's most southerly point. This adults-only site keeps things refreshingly simple – no WiFi, no caravan waste disposal – with campfires actively encouraged and dogs welcome throughout. The meadow setting strikes a peaceful balance between seclusion and accessibility, making it easy to reach Cornwall's dramatic clifftop walks and hidden coves.
Facilities cover the essentials with showers, toilets and drinking water, while the tranquil atmosphere suits those looking to genuinely unplug. It's not a polished, amenity-packed park, but that's rather the point – Trenoon appeals to campers after something low-key and authentic, where you can light a fire under the stars without sacrificing convenience entirely.

What a lovely greeting we recieved on our arrival and our pitch was lovely very spacious with electric and own water which we were very pleased about .Location was great with an excellent bus service and beautiful walks . Facilities were very clean and excellent ,even had a little camp shed for things you might have forgotten. The lovely touch of there being a cosy bar 🍸 😀 where we met other Campers and had a good sing along with the entertainment 🎶 Thank You so much to Donna,Mike & Family The A Team . ❤️ 💙 Regards Mary & Gerald Reading

A great place to stay with easy access for a mini Winnebago 8m, a lovely friendly welcome and great facilities, only about 30 walk to Pentewan and the Ship Inn, would recommend to anyone.

Absolutely wonderful experience staying at The Meadows - vibes were immaculate (and kid-free!), pitch and facilities were spotless, and the bar in the evening was great fun, and incredibly reasonably priced. All topped off by the incredibly warm welcome and hosting from Donna & Mike, who clearly work dawn to dusk to keep the site running like clockwork - in addition to this, after we clumsily left a jacket behind drying on a bench, they posted it back to our home address within days of arriving home. Location is perfectly situated for access to the beautiful coastal villages around the area, with a semi-regular bus service from right outside the main gate into Megavissey and St Austell. A real 10/10 experience, and we can’t wait to return in the near future!

What an amazing little site this was. Just had our first 2 week stay & really didn’t want to leave. It’s an adult’s only mix of caravans, motorhomes, tents (including wild camping) site. There’s a covered Al Fresco bar that opens 4 nights a week, sometimes with live music. Pitches are large & flat , most have electric & water. Toilet & showers are very clean & there’s also a washing machine & dryer available for a small charge. Donna & Mike are fantastic hosts & really lovely people. Can’t wait to return again next year…..keep doing what you’re doing 😊🍹
