About Widemouth Sands
Widemouth Sands is a campground on Marine Drive in Bude, right by Widemouth Bay. It suits families, couples and touring caravanners who want a seaside base with direct beach access. The pitches are spacious and many have views over the bay. Facilities include hot showers, fridges and charging lockers, and the staff are known for being helpful and accommodating.
An on-site food van covers meals and snacks. The Bay View Inn is next door, and a fish shop and ice-cream stand are just a short walk away, so you do not need to cook every night. Pets are welcome. The beach itself is the main draw—it sits right in front of the campground, so you can be in the water or on the sand within seconds of leaving your pitch.

What visitors say
I recently visited Sandparks with my wife, mum and dad and we all had an amazing time. Staff were friendly, helpful and polite. On two occasions we were planning walks into Bude along the costal path and the canal, we went and asked Sue on reception the best routes to take and she was super helpful. When we arrived Garry recommended the pub that is just in front of the campsite and let us know we would need to book, we made sure to book it in for that week and were not disappointed, food and view was amazing so would happily second Garry’s recommendation. Sammy the cleaner was often around the campsite and was so friendly and polite, she was always happy to chat and does an amazing job with the campsite bathrooms and showers as they were always spotless. The location was perfect for us as from pitch to sitting on the beach took less than 10 minutes. The walks around the campsite were also easily accessible and made for great days out. All of our party has spent lots of time camping but all agreed that this was the best campsite we have ever been to, we will definitely be back and have already recommended it to multiple friends and family.

Fabulous campsite located opposite beach. Lots of space for you to choose where to pitch, all with sea views. Well maintained site with lovely facilities including showers, toilets, surf showers and wetsuit wash, washing up, fridge and freezer, recharging points, toilet disposal, recycling and electric and water. We loved it so much we stayed an extra night. It was very busy this weekend as it was a hot bank holiday. But it was such a relaxed and quiet site it was a very enjoyable stay. We will definitely revisit and recommend to friends.

We are on this site now as I write this and the only reason I haven't given 5 stars is simply because I believe there should be room for improvement though currently it is hard where to suggest. My wife and I arrived on the Thursday for a three night stay and I had unknowingly paid for an electric pitch and as soon as I the lady realised she immediately reduced my tarriff despite me being happy to cut my loses on my mistake. The site itself is spacious, clean and overlooking the sea whi h the sound is lovely to fall asleep to. The showers and toilets are obviously cleaned regularly as they are always spotless when I go in. There are outside showers for wetsuits to get sand off and there is also a kitchen area for washing up and also fridges and freezers so you can chill your drinks. There is also a charging lockers for your phone. All in all a great place to pitch up not too far from local tourists points such as Bude, Bocastle and Tintagel and you can have a nice relaxed stay with a great vibe.

First time using this campsite and we'll definitely be back! A friendly welcome and able to choose our own pitch in a big field. Great facilities, lots of showers included in fee, clean toilets, outdoor showers to clean wetsuits, fridge & freezer and lockable lockers with plug socket for charging phones etc. also free. Short walk to the shop and bars. Huge beaches just over the road. Breakfast / supper wagon on site. Owners even allowed us a slightly later check out so we could have one last body board and shower before travelling home.
