Polzeath sits on the north Cornwall coast between Padstow and Port Isaac, a village built around one of the region's premier surfing beaches. Rock, just across the water, is reachable by ferry and makes an easy afternoon trip.

Bishops View occupies the first floor of a house in New Polzeath, with balcony doors opening onto a furnished terrace that overlooks the bay. The living room has a TV and DVD player; the kitchen is equipped for cooking proper meals. Two bedrooms sleep four—one with a double bed, the other with two singles that can be zipped together. There is one bathroom with a shower over the bath. Wifi, heating and parking for one car are included. A shared garden extends to the communal grounds.

The property suits families, couples or small groups wanting a base near the beach. No smoking inside. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
