Bude Rise opens onto a layout built for groups. Ground floor has a king bedroom with nearby bathroom and separate cloakroom, while upstairs brings four more bedrooms: a super-king with en-suite, two further kings (one en-suite, one sharing), and a twin. Three bathrooms across the house mean less queuing in the mornings. The whole place is yours alone, with wifi and all essentials—bed linen, towels, electricity—already sorted.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering: oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, freezer and everything else needed to cook anything from breakfast to group dinners. Living spaces centre on a comfortable lounge with TV, ideal for gathering after time at the beach. Outside, an enclosed garden with seating and barbecue opens onto a private hot tub—the kind of thing that justifies a group booking. Driveway parking is straightforward.
Bude itself trades on beaches, surf breaks and coastal walks. The house sits near St Olaf's Church in Poughill, close enough to town for shops and cafés but set back from the main drag. One well-behaved pet is welcome. No smoking indoors.

I stayed here as part of a group for a friend's birthday and we honestly had the best time. The house is absolutely gorgeous and had everything we needed. The hosts were brilliant - so friendly and helpful and their recommendations really helped make the trip extra special. We loved popping to Electric Bakery to grab food and bringing it back to enjoy at the house. The sauna and hot tub were such a treat, the rooms were really spacious and the kitchen was a real standout - beautiful and perfect for cooking and socialising together. Would 100% recommend and would love to come back!

Some place stay with you forever, and that is exactly what Coombe Rise will do! Wow. Simply wow. There was nothing this house didnt have - it had it all! We were fortunate enough to enjoy a 3 night stay at this beautiful dog friendly holiday let. From the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out it was utter bliss. The gated drive away provided ample parking for the cottage, and it was perfect for loading and unloading the dogs in a secure area. The house itself boasts 5 beautiful rooms. 1 x King, 2 x Doubles & 2 x twins. The house sleeps 10 people and welcomes 3 dogs. The house was immaculately clean, and well looked after. The kitchen was well equipped, and we enjoyed having access to the boot room which also had a washing machine and tumble dryer. With multiple living areas, it’s ideal for gatherings. We really enjoyed the games room and just enjoying some good quality family time. In the rear garden, the dogs thoroughly enjoyed the space to run around. And we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. Located in a peaceful area and a very short drive to the beach (literally minutes away) we had a minibreak that was the perfect blend of doing and relaxing. Kate & Geoff went above and beyond at every stage of our experience with them. The welcome basket that including some lovely local treat was very much appreciated. And the fact that a dog basket which included blanket, bowls and poop bags was provided was a welcome extra. I would absolutely recommend as a dog friendly, family friendly, friendship gathering friendly stay. This place has it all!

I was lucky enough to stay at Coombe rise in December which was the most beautiful house in North Cornwall. It was perfect for our large group and was amazingly equipped with everything we could have needed. The hosts where so helpful and easy to communicate through the whole process. Beautifully clean throughout with excellent linen and towels. The garden and hot tub topped it all off. Magical stay overall and can't wait to visit again next year. Thank you very much.
