Comehither is ready to use from the moment you arrive. Bed linen and Wi-Fi are included, heating is on, and the kitchen comes with an electric cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer and washing machine. You get a shower room, parking for two cars on site, and a garden with seating where you can watch the beach. One well-behaved pet is welcome. The property is non-smoking.

The three bedrooms sleep six: a double, a three-quarter double and a bunk bed room. Everything is on the ground floor, with a conservatory that opens to the garden and gives you views across to Polzeath beach. The living and dining area has a Freeview TV and DVD player. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed.

From here, the golden sands are minutes on foot. Polzeath is known for its surf; the bay has lifeguards in summer and shops hiring boards and wetsuits. The village has cafés, restaurants and pubs. Nearby are the villages of Port Isaac and Port Quinn, walks around Daymer Bay and Pentire Headland, and a ferry to Padstow. St Enodoc golf courses are a 10-minute drive away.
