Gew Cottage

Gew Cottage comes ready for a proper stay. The kitchen has an electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge, so you can cook as much or as little as you want. Electricity, wifi, bed linen and towels are all included, and logs for the wood burner come with the booking. Parking for two cars sits on the property, and there's a travel cot and highchair if you need them.

The layout spreads across two floors. Downstairs, the living room has a Freeview TV and woodburner for evenings in; the dining room opens onto the garden through patio doors; the kitchen leads off here; and there's a separate toilet. Upstairs holds two bedrooms—one with a double bed, one with two singles—plus a bathroom with bath and shower. The back garden has a sitting area and furniture, useful for a quiet morning or watching the sky at dusk.

The cottage sits near Helston, close enough to walk to the Helston Railway heritage line. The Penrose Estate is within reach if you want longer walks, and the coastal path connects through to Loe Bar. Porthleven, a fishing village with restaurants and pubs, is the nearest beach. No smoking inside the property.
