Oak Castle

Oak Castle is an 11-bedroom, 10-bathroom castle dating from 1698, sleeping up to 22 guests across individually designed rooms. You arrive to two separate living areas, a private garden with a solar-heated pool, and 55 acres of grounds, all yours alone. Wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included; cots and highchairs are available on request. Private parking is provided, and one well-behaved pet is welcome.

The castle sits beside the River Tamar, combining period character with luxury comfort. The kitchen is equipped for cooking from scratch, whether you're planning simple family meals or entertaining the whole group. Non-smokers only.

For exploring further afield, Plymouth lies 20 minutes away by car. The wider Cornish coast and its attractions are within easy reach for day trips, though the gardens and pool give you plenty of reason to stay put.
