Luxurious & romantic glamping We spent a weekend in one of the yurts and it was everything we wished for and more. The location felt private and yet the outlook was so open to nature, ideal for watching sunsets and stargazing warmed by the fire pit. The yurt was nothing short of luxurious and felt so romantic with an stunning unique wooden bed and woodburner. The cherry on top for us was the wood fired hot tub. Lunesdale Escapes have really taken glamping to a new level! We will definitely be booking again.

We had the most incredible stay at the Lunesdale Escapes cottage, it is in a great location, close to shops, the town and only a few miles to Kendal! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality by Thomas and Tracey who were warm and welcoming and everything you wish for in a host, they truly made us feel at home. The cottage itself was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean, with every detail carefully thought out to ensure our comfort. As a family, we cannot say enough about our hosts who went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Their recommendations for local hikes, restaurants, and activities were spot on, and they were always available to assist with any questions we had. The location was absolutely perfect - surrounded by breath-taking scenery, with stunning views from our doorstep. It was the ideal retreat for a peaceful getaway, yet conveniently close to nearby attractions and the lakes to explore. Overall, our experience at this cottage was nothing short of perfect. It was a retreat that allowed us to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and reconnect with nature and each other. We're already planning our next visit and can't wait to return. Our family of 4 and 2 dogs stayed in one of the bell tents which was so well presented and equipt with everything you could possibly need. The grassed area to front was brilliant for the kids and very secure for the dogs. Firing up the bbq of an evening followed by chucking few logs on later on finished of a perfect day. We would highly recommend and can't wait to return . The Garrett family.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Unforgettable Lake District Escape! We recently stayed in one of the yurts at Lunesdale Escapes, and it was pure bliss from start to finish. If you’re looking for the ultimate base to explore the Lake District while enjoying proper rustic luxury, this place is absolute perfection. The yurt itself was wonderfully spacious and cosy. There’s nothing quite like waking up naturally to the morning sun filtering through the bubble canopy, accompanied by the peaceful sound of sheep grazing nearby. It felt completely serene and a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. After full days out exploring the Lakes, coming back to the wood-fired hot tub in the evening was the absolute highlight. Unwinding under the stars with the crackle of the fire made for proper magic. Lunesdale Escapes have got every single detail spot on for a relaxing getaway. We’re already planning our return trip—10/10, couldn't recommend them highly enough!
