About Môr Heli Guest House

Môr Heli occupies a historic building directly on Criccieth's seafront at Marine Terrace, recently renovated to offer self-contained guest rooms rather than a traditional bed and breakfast format. Each room has a smart TV, mini-fridge, tea and coffee facilities and a dining area, with several enjoying sea views over the beach and Cardigan Bay.

The guest house operates on a room-only basis with a minimum two-night stay, and includes a small coffee shop on site serving cakes, pastries and light bites through the day. Criccieth beach is a few hundred metres away, and Portmeirion is within easy reach for a day trip.

Its seafront position and self-contained rooms make it a good option for guests who want a quiet, independent stay close to the water without the full-service format of a hotel.

Salt & Palm Café Bar is a wonderful spot overlooking the sea, perfect for stopping by for a coffee, a glass of wine, or a cocktail. The views are beautiful, and the owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making every visit feel special. A lovely place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere.

Absolutely loved our stay at môr heli. The rooms are beautifully decorated with comfy beds and pillows and hosts Jess and Gary have thought of everything. The views and quiet location are perfect for recharging the batteries and the amazing licensed cafe is the icing on the cake. Don’t forget to pick up something from the beautiful gift store as a little memento too. We’ll definitely be back next time we come to criccieth (if we can get in!)

It's not a B&B but a guesthouse, mainly because they can't be bothered to provide breakfast. It's far more expensive than a Travelodge or Premier Inn and not as good value.
