Ballahimmin Riding and Pony Trekking Centre

Ballahimmin Pony Trekking Centre is an absolute gem. We visited for a one‑day excursion from our cruise ship, and it turned out to be the perfect way to celebrate our 30th anniversary. The ponies are clearly well cared for, the scenery is stunning, and the entire experience feels relaxed and welcoming. Communication with Bryony was exceptional from start to finish. She made everything easy, answered every question, and ensured our visit went smoothly. The trek itself was peaceful, safe, and enjoyable for all experience levels. It’s one of those places where you can truly disconnect, enjoy the countryside, and appreciate how much the team loves what they do. A wonderful experience — highly recommended.

I'd wanted to try it for years. So glad I finally did it my brother came along too neither of us had ridden before. Staff are fantastic so patient and explained everything we needed to know the horses are very calm and well behaved. We will definitely be booking again next time we're over thanks for a great day

Four of us had a lovely walk and trot ride through beautiful countryside today. Thank you for a lovely safe ride. It was refreshing to found that you can cater for 6 foot + 90kg men.
