Lovely little site, electric hook up, fresh water tap, waste disposal and rubbish, toilet and shower on a beautiful farm setting. We even had fresh eggs delivered at no charge!

Good camping experience & caravan site, easily accessible. Reasonably close to local some local amenities pubs etc. A couple of miles from Gilsland which has a couple of pubs. Great countryside retreat. Located right in the heart of rural Cumbria. An enjoyable country get away where, if you like, you can experience (depending on the season) the workings of the surrounding farms like the one next door. Where im sure the land owner/farmer, would be more than happy for you to observe the workings of the farm, he was both friendly & receptive to visitors. I couldn’t help but notice he had an exceptionally large head though (physically i mean not egotistically).
