What visitors say
It's one of the best camp sites for quietness, loads of walks. Picturesque, near the lake. Perfect for young at heart people. The pitches are very spacious. The only downside was the trek to the showers and toilet, from the 'open field '.

We have had an amazing stay at Hollows Farm. The location is simply stunning - hidden down from the busy parts of the Lake District, this really is a gem. We went in early July during a heat wave so lots of the rest of the Lake.District was busy. But we felt totally secluded and isolated. It's part of the farm and the camping spots are large and quiet. The showers and toilets are super clean and they use eco products which was nice. They have a lovely honesty shop and you can buy their meat and other products such as cakes and eggs there. From the farm it is only 5 minutes into Grange and then only 14 minutes to Keswick. You can hear the perrigrine falcons each day as they nest on the mountains near the campsite. We really have had the best time and can safely say this is one of the best places we have camped. Thank you Ruby and Matthew

The owner Ruby is lovely and helpful. The location is stunning and water is nice to swim in. Plus they have a sauna you can book close by. The farm shop sells delicious farm produce. Would stay again!

What a fabulous location for a campsite, I can't say enough good things about this place. Well situated for lots of walks, sitting along the cumbria way, with public transport links a 5 minute walk away. The site itself is a lovely back to basics campsite, two fields for setting up, one assigned pitches, generously sized, and the other a free to pitch field you can go anywhere. There were nice hot showers and clean toilets, both nice and clean at all times through the day and night. Washing up facilities, water points in both fields and this time a little honesty shop which was perfect. We tried steak and burgers from the meat in there and the cakes were to die for, so good we went back 3 times! Relatively quiet site, we were there for Easter weekend and it wasn't full, lovely relaxing setting with some gorgeous lakeland scenery, mountains and woodlands. The staff seen around the site at various times through the day/evening were all lovely and chatty and the price was amazing too, probably the cheapest site left in the Lakes. Very dog friendly but must be on a lead at all times.
