I love this caravan park, I bought a touring caravan that had a couple of months' ground rent included within the sale. My intention was to remove the caravan and start touring with it. This hasn't happened, I love the friendly community feel, and everyone I've met is so nice. Pet friendly, clubhouse on site. Site fees and clubhouse is very reasonably priced, Lovely location,on the edge of the North Lake District, just off A66.

Having Being on this site the last 2 year Went for tourer to static. Honestly the location . The little club house on site with a family that goes up and beyond for there customers. Helpful and caring but also no nonsense to run a Good site . Extremely satisfied . And lovely people on the site ...

Hopkinson's Caravan Park is a charming caravan park located near so many of the Lake District's star attractions. Whilst standing on the park, enjoying the scenery, you'd never believe you were only 8 miles from Penrith. Leave the bustle of the A66 and in minutes you're transported away to peace and tranquility. If peace and quiet is what you're after, it's an option, but if you need access to the buzz of life, you're only 5 miles from Ullswater and 9 miles to Derwent Water. I'm not sure you'll find another caravan park that offers such a finely tuned balance of peacefulness one one hand and access to the northen lakes on the other!

Dirty showers, and you had to pay for wi-fi. To many caravans in a small area. Large unfriendly dog tried time attack as I walked passed the fine early morning. Toilets very dirty. Worst caravan site we have visited.
