Very welcoming and friendly, can't remember the couples name that live on site and have a black dog but they were both super helpful and accommodating. Toilet block was always clean, plenty of good hot showers, changing cubicles with sinks. Washing up facilities was ample. Easy arrival process and a good layout of pitches. There is pizza trailer serving fresh pizza in the evening but book your order early as she is busy but worth the wait. It was a stop off for us from Somerset to Scotland so stopped at Meathop on the way up and on the return trip. I left some clothing in the changing rooms and they found it and kept it for our return trip. A quiet, dog friendly spot that is handy for local attractions around Windermere. Would recommend and would visit again. Thank you.

Really enjoyed our stay, we did 5 nights here at the start of February. It was midweek so it was very quiet and we were able to chose our pitch. The pitch we chose was perfect for us with room for the dog to be tied on a long lead. All facilities were perfect, clean and in good working order. I had a nice hot shower daily and was pleased to see that it wasn't one of them that you have to press the button every 10 seconds. Its a nice area but not an awful lot around, its around 2.5 miles to Grange which has a few nice pubs and food options. Will definitely visit again.

Lovely site, great pitches plenty to choose from. Friendly and helpful wardens. All facilities were spotless. Pizza van here Friday and Saturday night, highly recommend. Good base for the Lakes as it is just off the A590. Will definately be staying here again.

Lovely site lots of pitches some all singing & dancing, some just basic, not all pitches r flat so u need levelling ramps, little shop in reception & a absolutely wicked pizza van on site Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, the Las is called TASHA. She is independent from site but man the best pizzas we've had for a long time, bogs and showers super clean as u would expect from a caravan & motorhome site, (if u r not a member u will pay a bit more), lovely views over Morecambe Bay, bus stop 10mins walk, u can walk in to Grange - oversands in about 1 hour, lots of shops & eateries /restaurant's, lovely walk along seafront, defo come back, lev nowt behind
