Such a shame, used to be a lovely caravan site, has gone downhill over the last few years, toilet &shower block terrible, dirty, smelly & hot water is hit n miss, decking to shower block is dangerous, moves n dips when walking on it, just a matter of time before it collapses.

Popped in this place while walking the Dales highway. We had no facilities (camping) booked in Sedbergh but on walking into the town from Dent we came upon this place. Billy and associates were excellent in accommodating us. Great little camping spot right next to the river. Excellent hot showers (much needed). Billy recommended a local pub (The Red Lion) where we had excellent food and a cracking night. Even managed to get all our smelly clothes washed and dried out in the glorious sunshine. Ready for another few days walking. Jason and Janeen
