What visitors say
A fantastic place with stunning views and great value for money. We stayed in the pet-free Birch Lodge which was immaculately clean and very well-maintained. The kitchen was very well equipped and the whole lodge had a home-from-home feel. The site was so quiet and we spotted lots of wildlife. The location was ideal for getting away from the main, busy tourist areas with easy access to main roads leading in all directions, and lovely hiking routes nearby. We will definitely look to stay here again on a return to The Lakes and are recommending here to friends and family.

Absolutely brilliant stay in The Elite Two. Lovely holiday park with an amazing view. Our elite accommodation was amazing and had everything in it you could possibly need for self catering. Very dog friendly place with nice warm dog shower, doggy field and even a special doggy agility park. Only complaint is that we had to come home at the end of our stay, however we have made sure that we are booked back in again for our next stay very soon.

Fantastic stay in an extremely clean caravan which was beautifully appointed. Everything we needed for a short stay was catered for. Park is well organised, clean & peaceful. Also well situated for visiting the area. Will definitely be returning at some point in the future.

Another great stay at Skiddaw View it is surrounded by the fells and the Lake District national park with everything on offer is easily accessible. We have stayed at SV a few times over the years and always enjoy our stay. This holiday we were kindly upgraded to a lodge. The accommodation was amazing with all round spectacular views. The site is beautifully maintained and all staff are helpful and on standby to deal with any unforeseen issues. We would highly recommend a stay at Skiddaw View.
