Lovely CL tucked away in the quiet Cumbria countryside but close enough to Penrith for a fabulous afternoon out and also further afield up the Eden Valley or west to the lakes. Pitches are flat and spacious enough and the surrounding views are very picturesque. Excellent 3 night break and book marked as a favourite on the clbooking app. Well done Annette and Ian

It's a good stopping off point or ideal spot for starting to explore the lake district. About 3.5 miles from Penrith so very easy to nip into town for shopping or a take away. Pub not too far away, about a mile, which does decent grub and beer but doesn't allow dogs. Site itself is tidy and level and has electric hook up and water but nothing else, price reflects this and we will happily use it again for a night or two.
