Red kites and peregrine falcons wheel overhead, kingfishers dart around the pond, and if you're lucky you'll spot otters along the riverbank where a footpath leads down to coarse-fishing spots and benches for quiet contemplation.

Lovely little site, very peaceful and relaxing. Great for the dogs, made even better by being adult only! Water and electric on each good sized pitch. Some very nice places to visit and lots of recommendations from the very friendly and helpful owner. Really liked Kippford and Kirkcudbright, didn't get round to testing the local pubs etc, but there's a few to choose from. Would definitely use the site again next time we're up this way!
