Nercwys Forest and the Clwydian Way footpaths are within easy reach of Bryn Dedwydd Cottage, making it a strong base for walking, cycling and wildlife watching across the hills. Mold lies to one side with its market and theatre; Ruthin to the other. Chester, Llandudno and Snowdonia are all within driving distance. A pub and restaurant sit roughly a mile away.

The cottage itself is a one-bedroom property sleeping two, set next to the owner's home in a quiet spot among the Clwydian mountains. Downstairs there is a living room with television and a kitchen/dining room equipped for cooking; upstairs, a double bedroom and ensuite shower room. The garden has a patio, seating and a barbecue. Parking for two cars is on site. Binoculars are provided for spotting birds and other wildlife. Essentials including electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included. No smoking is permitted. Access involves eight steps from the parking area.
