We had a lovely time at this great CL. Everyone is really friendly. Very clean with water and toilet emptying facilities. Great for walking and cycling or just relax and wander down to the local pub. We also visited their lovely Sunflower field. We will be coming back

This new site is absolutely beautiful. So to get the admin out of the way, it’s adult only, has no toilet or shower facilities but it does have water and elsan points. Booking via the website was dead easy and then Sophie dropped us a message via WhatsApp after. From there on we just checked in and out via WhatsApp, which makes everything super easy! There are only five pitches but to be fair each pitch is massive!! All five pitches are EHU as an added bonus, which is a rare treat for us. The site is on a working farm and livery yard which means there is traffic and stuff happening but this was nice to watch! People tending to their horses were all chatty and friendly and it was nice to watch the horses playing and pottering about. We sat in the comfy hammocks and enjoyed a glass of wine as the sun went down! The campsite itself is spotless, everything is brand new and it’s been done to a really high standard. The village is a few mins walk up the lane and in the village there’s a lovely little deli/cafe and next to that is an incredible pub that is well worth a visit. A bit further down the main road is another really great pub too. The breakfast at the lakeside cafe by the fisheries was smashing too! Honestly, this is one of the nicest sites we’ve visited for our little one-night breaks. We rarely need more than a field to park up in but this was a lovely little treat and we’ll certainly be back again.

We just spent a couple of nights here for the first time. What a fabulous find, so peaceful with stunning views. There’s great local pub and cafe just a very short walk from the site. We ventured a little further walking through the woods with the dogs to Cutthorpe. I would definitely recommend this site, the pitches are huge and there’s some wonderful hammocks for a peaceful chill. 😎 We’ll be back.

Great new C/L everything we needs great views piece and quiet very friendly owner. 2 x good pubs in easy walking distance recommend the Peacock for food. Bring leveling ramps
