Great campsite. One of the best no frills camp sites I've ever been to infact. No need to book, always availability. Showers and toilets basic but perfectly usable. 20 pence pieces a must for showers and other hot water uses. The owners have plenty if you need. Superb access to walks and bike rides along and around the Manifold Valley and Beresford Dale.

Superb spot for home ed camping. Had the field to ourselves - no frills but plenty of fun. Kids loved the rope swings and access to the river for some messy play. Brilliant value. I'm sure we'll be back!

Excellent place to just rock up and camp. We paid £9 for the 2 of us and a car camping. Very well organised, family friendly with a working farm and some great walks nearby. Not too far from Hartington walking distance which has a lovely Tea Room and 3 local pubs and some fine antique shops and local produce shops
