Little Stryne Certificated Site

I came to stay here for the night ( solo female camper ) in my tent. I was met at the gate and shown and told how to use the lock on the gate. It is a gated site and very safe. Beautiful plots with great views on every plot. Electric for camper vans and none electric plots. The land seems good all round to pitch a tent as it seems flat enough where I feel you may be situated. Beautiful surroundings and by the river on either end of the camp site. I lovely area to walk around and take your dog for a walk too which connects to the site,, it's a peaceful walk surrounded by green land, bluebells, wild garlic etc. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to Elvaston castle. The long stay community are really nice and I was introduced to a few of them. There are toilets on site and I was told there was hot running water in the toilets ( sink ). The site is very clean and well looked after. I really enjoyedy stay and would give this site a 5 star. Kind regards Charlotte

Lovely, friendly site. Brenda, the owner met us on arrival. Great sized pitches, very tidy site. Dog walk is a great bonus and plenty of water surrounding the site. Hubby enjoyed the fishing. Definitely will be going back.

Fantastic site lovely owner, great dog walking section and great river views. There is a toilet block (no showers) fresh water and chemical toilet disposal. Next door to Elvaston Castle and also the canal paths to Long Eaton or Derby so bring your bike. Just 1/2 a mile from Borrowash where there are shops and highly recommend The Bay of Bengal Indian. Some pitches have electric but most don’t but for the price you cannot go wrong 5 ⭐️

What a treat, we were greeted by Brenda when we arrived in the rain, she was everything you wanted, friendly, chatty and light hearted, thankyou. Little Stryne is a simple but incredibly scenic campsite right on the waterfront and not far off the A1. Decent loos and disposal area, spacious pitches and electric We booked for one night's stopover but stayed for two as it was so tranquil, we would have liked to stay longer but our schedule wouldn't allow.
