Measham House Farm Caravan Park

Camped here for 2 nights, booked top field non electric pitch which is actually marked as event field on the park map and where we ended up, making it further from toilet facilities. I probably wouldn't have booked if I had realised this as have 2 young children. Toilet facilities however are modern and clean and are up there with some of the nicer I've came across. We returned to our tent from a day out to discover new neighbours tent(s) within a metre of ours. 5 tents and 5 cars crammed in next to us, we had to remove our guylines in order to park our car. This site doesn't appear to have guidelines for spacing on their terms and conditions unlike others I have been to which I feel would be beneficial. Unfortunately some things outwith the campsites control also affected our stay. (the nearest field across the road had been sprayed with muck, some noisy large aircraft landing nearby late evening, as well as loud farm vehicles and speeding drivers using the nearest road all night). Campsite has some lovely views, perhaps we got unlucky with no peace to enjoy. £38 per night seems too expensive for what we experienced.

Absolutely the best camping site nothing is to much trouble ! The shop on site as everything you need , the shower / toilet blocks are fabulous clean , the washing up area has every think you need the big field they have for the dogs is amazing and there is a bath to wash them down can't wait to go again this year ! Camping 🏕️. July 2026. Well we have just got back from our camping trip the 4 wardens are absolutely amazing. Nothing is to much trouble from them , it was our 6 month old sprocker pup 1st camping trip and she loved it in the stream the big field and the wardens. ♥️ And the farmer who was muck spreading what a wonderful smell of the countryside you can't beat that smell when you are camping .😁 It's called the great out doors. Once again thankyou so much see you guys next year. Xx

Decent site, nice facilities. Bizarrely they have a massive sign in the entrance to the meadow field saying families only, strictly no groups. Reassuring on arrival with a small child. Its not enforced though. Big group of drunk teenagers were allowed to camp on it. Why have the sign if its not the case? A number is given to call if things are loud after 10pm, but someone coming to say keep it down has little impact unsurprisingly. Edit: Your response is poor. I thought it was worth a review so you could review how you advertise. Clearly you’d rather be defensive rather than introspective. An apology would have meant us giving you another go. Never mind There were 10 of them. They were drinking a lot, and starting fires spraying deodorant, playing drinking games and shouting. I have nothing to gain in saying this. Clearly you do in disputing it.

Overall a really lovely site. Facilities were very clean and well maintained and a pizza van was there on the Saturday night. Just be aware that the Meadows field is about 5 minutes walk to the facilities including a short stretch of road with no pavement. The road was very busy while we were there with tractors and motorbikes so it felt little bit stressful with small children and a dog. Some trailer toilets or a couple of portaloos in the meadow would have made a big difference to our stay.
