Bigbury Bay Holiday Park

Well, it was good. I had fun. But there just wasn't much around, the beach was gorgeous but thats all that's on site as the clubhouse was alright at best. Please, please, please if u are not happy driving in country lanes and aren't decent at reversing even consider this place. The roads there were beyond a joke. I know that holidays are about time with the family, but there was between no and very little mobile signal there, with the wifi although being strong, kicking you off randomly. To put in to perspective just how out in the sticks you are, the nearest supermarket was over a 2h round trip. A tip if you do go is to avoid tidal road, it's a road that is cross able dependable on the tide (found out thr hard way)

Firstly, don't let the name of the Park fool you . ALL the Caravans are static and privately owned. There aren't any facilities other than a very small play area for children . Also, the pitching of tents is prohibited as is touring Caravans . Park Dean Holidays are located down by the beach , which is a separate concern.

If you don't go you will never know what you are missing. But we had FUN and are going back for more
