About Poole Farm CL

We stayed at journeys end cottage for a week in June. The cottage was exceptional in every respect from the thoughtful welcoming cake, bottle of wine and fresh flowers. Super comfortable beds, the kitchen had all the appliances , crockery , utensils you could possibly need and more. Everywhere was beautifully decorated .an added bonus was the hot tub. Lou is a great chef and we had some wonderful meals . We have already booked for next year! Thank you Greg and Lou

Wow! Everything about this cottage is perfect. When we arrived Greg met us and showed us how everything worked. The cottage was spotless, we had a lovely welcome cake and flowers. The dog even had a welcome gift! The hot tub and garden are excellent and Bee (the greyhound) adored the dog field. We took full advantage of the meals cooked by Lou - every dish was delicious with generous portions and very reasonable prices. The only downside was we had to come home! Thank you Greg and Lou for making our stay so wonderful. Hopefully we will be back soon

Greg and Louise were fantastic hosts. Room was beautifully appointed and comfortable with a lovely ensuite. Louise provided a generous, sumptuous home-cooked breakfast. Can't recommend highly enough and didn't want to leave. Their pet dog Rufus was an added delight to meet.
