Stayed at Putts Corner as an overnight stay on journey to the West Country. This is a beautifully kept site with spacious pitches. Wardens are very helpful when choosing a pitch and offered plenty of advise of the local area. Also noted they were working constantly to keep the site perfect. Another bonus, the pub is just a short walk away ! Facilities were extremely well kept.. another credit to the wardens. Many thanks for an enjoyable evening.

Putts Corner is owned and operated by the Caravan and Motorhome Club. The grounds are well kept, the toilet and shower blocks are modern and squeaky clean. Pitches are well proportioned and a mixture of serviced, hard standings and grass. There is a dog walk for fido which leads to an excellent pub about 10 minutes walk away. There is a children's play area on site. I cannot fault the stewards on site who are helpful and very efficient. The reason I have marked it down are personal. For me, there are too many hard standings and too few grassed pitches. Over provision of hard standings make sites look like huge carparks. I prefer a choice and the choice of grassed pitches here has effectively become very limited.

Lovely place. Highly recommend. Clean and friendly. Tesco near by. Pub walking distance. You will hear the planes from Exeter Airport but it did not bother us. Great atmosphere. Will go again. The Pig Hotel is near by and lovely lunch enjoyed.

We have just returned home from a wonderful 6 night stay at Putts Corner. Very warm welcome on arrival by friendly attentive staff. Dog friendly with onsite dog walk area. Information given on campsite & immediate area. Fob given to operate barriers on entry & exit. Campsite is very well kept, spotlessly clean around site, with 2 toilet/shower blocks which were warm very well maintained with decent free showers. Wash up area, laundry & good information room with lots of information on walks & places to visit. Visiting mobile Fish & Chip van, very well priced for good sized portions of tasty freshly cooked food. The pub (Hare & Hounds) nearby (180yrds) accessible via short woodland path from top of site is well worth a visit. All food very well presented and tasty, the daily carvery is exceptional, recommended booking a table. Campsite on main bus route (No.9) to Honiton, Sidmouth & Exeter. We will definitely be returning .....
