Riviera Bay Holiday Park

Wonderful stay here. Beautiful views across the bay, access to the coastal path, high quality accommodation. Staff welcoming and helpful. A short walk into Brixham, downhill.

I didn't envisage I would ever be leaving a negative review like this, for Riviera Bay, but I am. I have been coming here on holiday since 1991 when it was Pontin's, then regularly from the early 2000's when it was St Mary's Bay and also since 2007 when it was then owned by Park Holidays. It is now under 'new' ownership, but the owners are nowhere to be seen. Unfortunately the way I have been made to feel by staff there has now left me unable to return, and I have had no choice but to cancel our next booked holiday there. This is such a shame and so sad as I have links to holidaying there with my family back in the 1980's (next door at Pontin's Dolphin), and in 1991 with my father who is no longer with us. We have also had at least 11 holidays there in the past 9 years alone so it does hurt. However, it's clear the park owners or senior management don't care or they would've stepped in and stopped this situation from escalating. I really hope things improve at Riviera Bay, because we loved the lodge we stayed in, and the superb views-it was our peaceful haven. We shall miss it dearly. However, you cannot holiday at a place where staff discriminate against you, don't attempt to put it right and senior management/the owners are conveniently AWOL.Please read my full review on Tripadvisor so you can understand exactly what has happened. Nice and new, but very empty. The menu was very limited, and drinks were expensive. Pleasant staff, dogs allowed.

Experience was very good. We love where we stayed. Every was good, just one thing There was no Eggs cup.
