What visitors say
Good family holiday park, accomodation was a good size and reasonably equipped for a good base of operations. Bar is well stocked and entertainment is fairly good but very family orientated. Lots of fun for the kids but not so much on at night. There's a bus service into town from right outside the site. But the last one is at 18:15. So again not so good for the nightlife, and it's a fair old walk down to the town centre. Great position for walking as the coast paths are accessible from the back of the site. Had a great time here.😎

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We stayed at South Bay Holiday Park and were absolutely impressed. This is an incredibly beautiful and peaceful place. The nature is simply stunning — amazing sea views, fresh air, quiet surroundings, and a real sense of escape. It’s the perfect place to relax, unwind, and recharge. What we loved most was the atmosphere — very cozy, calm, and without any hustle or noise. It’s ideal for anyone who wants a break from city life and is looking for true relaxation. We genuinely enjoyed our stay and would happily come back again. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a quiet, scenic, and relaxing seaside getaway .

Booked a last minute weekend holiday, first time using any John Fowler park and is definitely our last, arrived at caravan supposed to be gold plus with decking and it was sold as very modern, it was a basic old caravan and I have paid less for better quality. We was in the caravan for no less than 5 minutes to find our 3 year old twins running around with 2" screws, caravan was quite literally falling apart, sides of radiators was loose and hanging off, plastic trim covers around front door was propped in place, plastic skirting was hanging off, I did phone reception straight after the screw situation and I also asked if someone could clean the decking as it was dirty and covered in leaves, the table and chairs we were supplied was covered in dirt and bird mess, we expected to be able to sit outside and use the outdoor area but this wasn't possible, the reception said she was pass on all of our feedback and said she would send maintainance round, we were there for 4 days and saw no one, receptionist was as useful as a chocolate teapot. On the Saturday evening one of our twins fell down a step in the play park and bumped his head, which we had to seek first aid from an out sourced security guard as reception was shut, whilst we were being seen, not 1 member of staff from the park came to see if he was okay and what had happened. We had more concern from other guests staying at the park. Overall 100% would not stay again or recommend to anyone. First time visiting Brixham and if it wasn't such a nice place we would of left Friday.

We stayed in a chalet here in June 2026 on a last minute getaway. The chalets are basic & a little dated, but clean, and the beds/pillows were very comfortable which is all you need really. Great location, lovely food in the clubhouse - the sandwich with salad & tortillas was beautiful and freshly made. It's very dog friendly which is a huge bonus for us, but the chalet didn't smell 'doggy' at all. I've been coming to Brixham for 40 years, and I didn't know this place even existed, and I'm glad to have found it.
